Present Continuous Tense
โครงสร้างประโยค: S + is, am, are + v.ing
หลักการใช้
1. เหตุการณ์กำลังเกิดในขณะที่พูด
Ex. Mother is cooking now.
I am cleaning the table.
I am writing.
2. เหตุการณ์หนึ่งกำลังดำเนินอยู่ ก็มีอีกเหตุการณ์เกิดขึ้นแทรก***
เหตุการณ์เกิดก่อนใช้ Present Continuous Tense
เหตุการณ์เกิดทีหลังใช้ Present Simple Tense
Ex. As I am playing chess, my sister comes in.
3. ทำเป็นประจำในช่วงเวลาใดเวลาหนึ่ง
This summer I am studying at The One.
4. ในการวางแผนและกำหนดการที่จะกระทำในอนาคตโดยบ่งบอกเวลาไว้อย่างชัดเจน
He is visiting his uncle tomorrow.
| Adv. of time ทีใช้ใน tense นี้คือNow, right now, at present, at the moment, at this moment, still, this,….., today. |
Verb ที่ใช้กับ Present Continuous ไม่ได้
Seem ดูเหมือนว่า sound ฟังดูเหมือนว่า
Hate เกลียด deserve เหมาะสม สมควร
Exist มีอยู่ see เห็น
Consist of ประกอบด้วย own เป็นเจ้าของ
Hear ได้ยิน belong เป็นของ
Have มี mean หมายความว่า
Think เชื่อว่า taste รสชาติ
Understand เข้าใจ look ดูเหมือนว่า
Feel รู้สึก owe เป็นหนี้
Become, appear กลายเป็น love รัก
Know รู้ smell ได้กลิ่น
Like ชอบremember จำได้
