การเขียนบทคัดย่อ (Abstract) ตอน 2 การเขียนอธิบายวิธีการวิจัย
ในบทความฉบับก่อนหน้านี้ผู้เขียนได้กล่าวถึงลักษณะที่สำคัญสามประการของการเขียนบทคัดย่อ รวมถึงประโยคภาษาอังกฤษที่สามารถใช้เขียนบอกวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยไปแล้วนะคะ ในบทความนี้ผู้เขียนจะขอกล่าวถึงตัวอย่างในการเขียนอธิบายวิธีการวิจัย (Methodology)ในบทคัดย่อฉบับภาษาอังกฤษนะคะ
ผู้วิจัยควรจะต้องจำไว้เสมอว่าข้อมูลที่เขียนลงในบทคัดย่อนั้นต้องครอบคลุมงานวิจัยที่ผู้วิจัยได้ทำมาทั้งหมดแต่เป็นฉบับที่ย่อแล้ว โดยทั่วไปแล้วในส่วนของการเขียนอธิบายวิธีการวิจัยผู้วิจัยจำเป็นต้องให้ข้อมูลดังต่อไปนี้ 1. กลุ่มตัวอย่าง (Population/Sample) 2. เครื่องมือวิจัย (Research instruments)และ3. วิธีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล (Data analysis)ยกตัวอย่างเช่น

Bangkok, selected by purposive sampling (Population/Sample). The instruments used for collecting data included questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews (Research instruments). Collected data from questionnaires was quantitatively analyzed by using mean and standard deviation while data from interviews was qualitatively analyzed (Data analysis).
(Population/Sample).Two questionnaires were used to collect data(Research instruments). The data was analyzed by Computer Packaging Programs and percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test (Data analysis).
