1. อย่าแปลตรงตัว – ใช้ “Natural English”

ผิด → “I very like to study abroad because can get new experience.” ถูก → “I’m eager to study abroad because it will give me valuable new experiences.”

Tip: หลีกเลี่ยงคำว่า very, can, because ซ้ำ ๆ ให้เปลี่ยนเป็นคำที่ native ใช้จริง เช่น

  • very → really / extremely / incredibly
  • can → will be able to / enables me to
  • because → as / since / due to

2. Essay ต้องมี “Hook” ตั้งแต่ประโยคแรก

  1. Anecdote (เล่าเรื่องสั้น)

  2. Question

3. ใช้ Active Voice ให้มากกว่า Passive

Passive (ดูอืด) → “The project was led by me.” Active (ดูมั่นใจ) → “I led a team of 10 to launch the school’s first recycling program.”

4. คำศัพท์ “Academic” ที่กรรมการชอบเห็น

5. โครงสร้างย่อหน้าแบบ PEEL (Point → Evidence → Explanation → Link)

P – Point: Social media helps activism. E – Evidence: The #TrashTag challenge cleaned 1,000+ beaches worldwide (UNEP, 2023). E – Explanation: This shows how one hashtag can drive global action. L – Link: Therefore, digital tools are essential for modern social change.

6. 5 ประโยคสัมภาษณ์ที่ต้องซ้อมให้เป๊ะ

คำถาม คำตอบตัวอย่าง (30 วินาที)
Tell me about yourself. “I’m a final-year computer science student from Bangkok with a passion for sustainable tech. I’ve built two mobile apps that help farmers predict weather, and I’m eager to bring Thai agricultural challenges to a global classroom.”
Why this university? “Your Sustainable Tech Lab published a 2024 paper on AI for smallholder farms—exactly the research I want to contribute to.”
Weakness? “I used to over-commit to projects, but I’ve learned to use the Eisenhower Matrix to prioritize effectively.”
Where in 5 years? “Leading a climate-tech startup in Southeast Asia, backed by the networks and skills I gain here.”

7. คำกริยา “Power Verbs” สำหรับ Resume & Essay

แทนคำธรรมดา → ใช้คำเหล่านี้ให้ดูโปร

  • Managed → Spearheaded / Orchestrated
  • Helped → Facilitated / Empowered
  • Made → Designed / Engineered / Developed
  • Did → Executed / Implemented

ตัวอย่าง

“I did a project about recycling.” → “I spearheaded a campus-wide recycling initiative that reduced waste by 40%.”

8. หลีกเลี่ยง 5 คำที่ Native ไม่ใช้ในงานเขียนวิชาการ

  5. nice → pleasant / engaging / valuable
